01Who we are

WALDHOF REAL ESTATE, a société à responsabilité limitée whose registered office is at 14 Avenue de France, 06190 Roquebrune-Cap-Martin, is the data controller for the personal data collected on this website.

02Data we collect

When you use our contact, valuation or booking-request forms, we collect the information you provide: name, email address, telephone number and details about your property or your search.

03Purposes

Your data is used solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a valuation, or organise a viewing or a stay. It is never sold and is not used for any marketing without your explicit consent.

04Legal bases

Depending on the case, the processing of your data is based on: the performance of pre-contractual measures or of the contract concluded with you (viewing request, mandate, lease); your explicit consent for any commercial prospecting; and, where applicable, the legitimate interest of Waldhof Real Estate in responding to your contact or valuation requests. Data collected under our anti-money-laundering and counter-terrorist-financing obligations is processed on the basis of a legal obligation.

05Recipients and processors

Your data is accessible only to authorised staff of Waldhof Real Estate. It is transmitted, strictly to the extent necessary for the purposes described, to the following providers: the publisher of our property-management software (Apimo), our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) and our email service provider (Google Workspace). Each acts as a processor, on the instructions of Waldhof Real Estate and under a contract compliant with Article 28 of the GDPR. Where the preparation of a transaction so requires, your data may also be communicated to the notary in charge of the file, who then acts as an independent controller.

06Transfers outside the European Union

The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company under US law certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, covered by the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023. Transfers to this host are governed by that certification and, additionally, by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses included in the data-processing agreement concluded with Vercel Inc. No other transfer of data outside the European Union takes place.

07Cookies and trackers

This site uses no audience-measurement trackers. With your consent only, it uses Google Ads cookies (Google Ireland Ltd) to measure the effectiveness of our advertising — for example, to know whether a visit that began with one of our ads led to a phone call or a WhatsApp message. Without your consent, no advertising cookie is set: Google only receives cookieless signals, which it uses to estimate the overall performance of our ads. Your choice is kept for six months and you can change it at any time with the “Cookies” link at the bottom of every page; declining also deletes any Google Ads cookies already set. Google may process this data in the United States, under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Your language preference and your cookie choice are stored locally in your browser. On property pages, the Google Maps map is loaded only after you click “Show map”; Google (Google Ireland Ltd) may then set its own cookies, governed by its privacy policy. Fonts are served by Google Fonts, which involves transmitting your IP address to Google when pages load.

08Retention

Contact data is kept for a maximum of three years after our last exchange, unless a contractual relationship or a legal obligation requires a longer period.

09Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data, and to object to or restrict its processing, by writing to enquiries@waldhof.fr. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).

10Data protection officer

Waldhof Real Estate has not appointed a data protection officer, as this appointment is not mandatory given the nature and volume of its processing. Any question about your data may be sent to enquiries@waldhof.fr.

11AI property search

When you use the AI property search, the text you type is sent to our processor Anthropic, PBC (United States), publisher of the Claude model, for the sole purpose of extracting your search criteria (location, type of property, budget, number of bedrooms…). Waldhof does not store this text and does not link it to any data about you; Anthropic processes it on our behalf under its commercial terms, which exclude its use to train its models. This transfer outside the European Union is governed by the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Please do not include personal data in your search. Your current search is kept only in your browser for the duration of your visit (session storage), and a non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address is used to prevent abuse.
